Teaching internships

Some psychology faculty work with undergraduate students in teaching internships. These internships involve the intern assisting students enrolled in the professor’s courses. If you have done well in their course and are interested in becoming a teaching assistant for the professor you took the course with, approach the professor to ask them about potential opportunities to work with them. You may be able to earn credit for experiences like this through Psy 402 or 403, or complete this for no credit with Psy 404. We recommend approaching professors you may want to work with as a teaching intern prior to the registration period for the next semester to increase the likelihood that they will not have already offered positions to other people. You cannot add these classes on your own; you must receive instructor approval and be added to the class.

Psychology Club

Psychology Club is open to all undergraduate students interested in the field and application of psychology. Psychology Club meets several times each semester and provides opportunities to connect with others, learn more about post-graduate opportunities, and gain information about opportunities available in the Psychology Department and beyond. Connect with us through the ForUM.
