GENERAL CURRICULUM SEQUENCE FOR CLINICAL GRADUATE STUDENTS
Students take the majority of required courses in their first two academic years. Some courses are offered every year, while others are offered every two years. Those that are usually offered every two years are denoted with an * below.

In addition to the graded courses above, students typically enroll in thesis/dissertation hours and clinical practicum hours each semester (and thesis/dissertation hours during summer). Students also complete an assessment practicum during the 3rd or 4th year as their schedules allow.
Electives (2 elective courses are required)
In addition to the courses above, students must complete 2 additional electives from the following:
Social Psychology, Cognitive Neuroscience, Child Psychopathology, Neuropsychological Assessment, Behavioral Assessment, Neural Bases of Learning & Memory, Psychology of Emotion, Teaching of Psychology, Psychopharmacology, Human Memory, and various seminars (eg, ACT, health psychology, couples therapy, disaster psychology, anxiety disorders, scientific writing).
Additional graduate-level statistics courses through the Pharmacy Department (in pursuit of the Interdisciplinary Graduate Minor in Applied Statistics; https://gradschool.olemiss.edu/gmas/), courses that comprise the Gender Studies graduate minor, or the African-American Studies Seminar (501) offered by the department of African-American Studies can be chosen as electives from other departments.
