Graduate Student Natasha Wood Receives Research Grant to Study Extremism

Natasha Wood was awarded a research grant for her project: “The rejected loner: The role of social isolation and ostracism on extremist beliefs.” The project is being funded by Psi Chi. The research will shed light on the factors that lead to radical extremism. It will use a broadly representative national sample, and experimentally investigate the role of isolation in paving the way for extreme beliefs and ideologies.
