Vanessa is invested in combining African/Black Psychology and African American Studies to better understand and identify culturally specific methods for healing. Vanessa is specifically committed to centering Black women in her research analysis, while exploring culturally relevant suicide risk and protective factors.
Vanessa plans to accept a graduate student for the 2025-2026 academic year.
