The Society for Personality and Social Psychology (SPSP) awarded competitive travel grants to Vy Nguyen and Sukhmani Pal to attend the national conference in New Orleans, February 27-29th, 2020. Second year Experimental Graduate Student Vy Nguyen has received a Graduate Student Travel Award to present her research project “Prototypically American: The role of race and accent in judgements of Americanness”. Third year experimental graduate student Sukhmani Pal was awarded a Diversity Graduate Travel Award to present her research titled “The role of threat in the acceptance of violence towards Muslims”.
