Grammy-recognized recording artist, award-winning radio personality, inspirational speaker, comedian, actor and University of Mississippi alumnus are just a few of the many accomplishments of Willie Moore Jr.

A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Moore Jr. attended high school in the Ferguson-Florissant school district. As a four-time track-and-field state champion, he received a full scholarship to attend the University of Mississippi where he studied psychology.

“Being a part of the Ole Miss athletics department, we all loved and supported each other’s educational efforts and sports efforts by holding each other accountable for great academics,” Moore Jr. said. “The community of student-athletes was first class.

“Attending Ole Miss was an amazing experience that shaped me for leadership for the rest of my life.”

Shortly after his college tenure, Moore Jr. signed a record deal with Universal Records and released his first single, “Roll With Me.” He later went on to launch his own record label, WILFLO MUSIC GROUP, which independently landed him a deal with Warner Bros. Records.

As the host of the top rated “Willie Moore Jr. Show,” Willie reaches over 1.7 million people weekly. The ground-breaking inspirational show has featured top entertainers and celebrities, including Barack and Michelle Obama, Tyler Perry, Bishop T.D. Jakes, Hilary Clinton and many more. Willie can also be seen on BET’s Joyful Noise and TBN’s Juice TV’s The Crew, which currently airs in over 60 million households world-wide.

Outside of entertainment, Willie Moore Jr. is an advocate for adoption and foster care. As the President of the WILFLO Foundation Inc. (named after his forever family Willie and Flora Moore) Willie brings awareness to the adoption and foster care system through school programs, scholarships for foster children, faith based multi-media films and television shows, and his signature event, “THE DAY OF THE A (Adoption)”.

Through his online ministry, entertainment, and comedy, Willie Moore Jr. has garnered a huge following on social media.

As a renowned personality, Moore Jr. has traveled to many places, yet he said, “As I travel the country, I have yet to find a campus more beautiful and inviting than Ole Miss.”
